Ostrall New Zealand earns nothing from the links in its results today. We are not a member of any affiliate programme, and no retailer pays us to appear in our results or to rank higher.
How Ostrall New Zealand links to retailers
When you choose a seller, we send you straight to that retailer's own website, where you buy directly from them. Today those are plain links: they carry no tracking code that identifies Ostrall, and the retailer doesn't pay us when you buy.
If that changes
To keep Ostrall New Zealand free, we may later join affiliate programmes run by retailers or networks. If we do:
- some links will earn us a commission when you buy. You will not pay any more because of it;
- we will update this page first, list the programmes we belong to and add the wording they require;
- links that can earn us money will be clearly identified where they appear, so the commercial relationship is never hidden, consistent with the Fair Trading Act 1986, Commerce Commission guidance and the Advertising Standards Authority's Advertising Standards Code.
Our ranking promise
Ostrall ranks sellers by what matters to you: the right product, whether you can buy it now, and the price delivered to you. Whether a retailer pays us will never decide a product's or a seller's position in our results, and we will never hide a cheaper seller because it doesn't pay us.
